So many of us are trying to give our kids what we didn’t have—not just stability, but knowledge. Not just survival, but the skills to build something lasting.
In this virtual Parent Circle workshop, we’ll talk about how to lay a strong foundation for financial literacy at home. You’ll learn practical ways to start (or deepen) conversations about money with your children, teach age-appropriate lessons, and build habits that support long-term success—without shame or overwhelm.
Our guest facilitator Ingrid Baker knows this work intimately. As the first in her maternal line to graduate high school, she’s seen how education (and lack of access) shapes families for generations. Now the founder of I Love 2 Educate and a doctoral candidate in Education Leadership, she brings a global perspective and a deep commitment to transforming lives through both learning and economic empowerment.
This workshop is for parents, caregivers, and the village that surrounds our children. It’s about passing on what we know, learning what we didn’t, and doing it in community.
This session is part of The ALLICE Collective’s Virtual Parent Circle series.
