Kyle Maronie

Kyle Maronie serves as the Community Health and Wellness Manager for the Sheila Jackson Lee Center for Accelerating Health Outcomes at Harris Health, leading efforts to address non‑medical drivers of health and advance equitable outcomes through community-centered strategies. He previously held multiple roles at Harris County Public Health, including Stakeholder Engagement Manager and Community Engagement and Empowerment Manager, where he guided violence prevention initiatives, alternative 911 response efforts, and equity-focused partnerships. Earlier in his career, he supported disaster preparedness in international communities and played pivotal roles in equitable access to COVID‑19 testing and vaccination. A returned Peace Corps Volunteer who served three years in Cameroon, he also completed the Humanitarian Response Intensive Course at Harvard’s and holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Prairie View A&M University, where he received the Student Humanitarian Award. Kyle is a co‑founder of the North East Coalition for Advancement and Transformation (NCAT), a lifetime member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, and a proud native of Dominica who has called Houston’s Settegast community home since childhood.
